Drew's kindergarten class did a little play that described the 'First Thanksgiving.' The parents of the students were invited to watch and bring in traditional thanksgiving foods for all the children to try. We were so lucky that Grandad and Jennifer had just drove into Henderson from San Diego and went with us to see Drew.
"I am mosoique and I am Chief of my tribe," was Drew's line.
Tasting the food was so much fun, even Luke got to try some of Drew's yummy treats!
Turkey Day!
We woke up early, watched the Thanksgiving Day parade and while the turkey was cooking, the boys stayed busy making a gingerbread house.

While stuffing our faces with stuffing, we went around the table and said what we were thankful for... Drew and Luke took this as a challenge and just kept going and going, which was great if it means they learn gratitude. As for me, I am so very thankful for ALL of my family, it really is the most important thing!
