Back to school...back to school....

Drew begins 1st grade
Drew was BEYOND ready for school to start this year.  Our summer was jam packed of fun activities, yet he was still bored.  I think he really loves the structure of school.
The whole family was there to see Drew off.

Drew and some buddies, they were excited!

Luke starts preschool!!!
I was worried about Luke starting school.  He's always been cautious around strangers and much more comfortable having his family near.  However, Luke did amazing!  He was so ready to be a big boy and absolutely loved everything about school.  I feel silly for being nervous.  I am so proud of my Luke E!

Hanging out with his friend, Sofia before school.

Luke giving little brother a hug.  Blake was so disappointed that he couldn't go to school too; He cried and threw himself on the floor!  Blake will just have to be patient and wait 2 years!

One more kiss before we go!

My Little Helper
So now that his bros are in school, Blake is my personal assistant, helping me grocery shop and clean the house......Yeah right!

Labor Day Weekend

This year, my birthday fell on the Friday of labor day weekend, so we had some fun-filled days!
The boys and Mikel made me a cake with cream cheese frosting...yum!

Then Mikel and I went to an amazing dinner in downtown Vegas at Bar+Bistro @the Arts Factory, a completely unique place that has art galleries, jewelry booths, musicians, performance artists etc...
After dinner we made our way to the Fremont Street zip-line. This pic is of us in the harnesses waiting in line, it was exciting!  We zip-lined above crowds of people and lights, it was so much fun and my only complaint was that I wish it were longer!

The next day we met up with friends at our favorite pool located at M hotel.  For my friend Christina, it was her last fun thing before her baby was coming in just a few days!

On labor day we went to Springs Preserve, an amazing place for nature-lovers that has a hands-on museum, ampitheater etc...Sadly we only got 2 pics before my camera battery died! To the left is a cool lizard that we saw.
Here we are getting ready to watch the bug show, which the boys LOVED!

Drew's 7th Birthday!

It is so hard to believe that my baby could be 7 years-old!  Drew picked his birthday party this year and it couldn't have fit his personality more perfectly.  He loves mini-golf, so we had a party this year at King Putt where the indoor golf is glow-in-the-dark!

Grandma and Grandpa came from Denver to see Drew on his birthday!

These pics were taken all in the dark with everything glowing, however my camera made them look much brighter!

Drew makes a putt for a prize.

Blake stayed on one hole the entire time and loved it!

King Tutt's tomb opened.......scary!

The magician, Famous Wayne was great.

The kids were laughing so hard at the magician, who was quite the comedian.

Drew was thrilled to go up and help Famous Wayne.

Blake sat in the isle and watched the whole show.

Drew picked out his cake, he wanted his face on a dollar bill, of course.  Everything about the party was exactly what he loves....putt-putt, magic and money!! He had a blast!
